Students

The Small Hill Foundation's network of industry champions and local experts will help students learn about different career paths and fields of study and is intended to be used by all students as they prepare for their future careers. Students in the Small Hill Foundation career development program are expected to perform to the best of their abilities in all of their classes and take advantage of the mentorship available.

FIRST SEMESTER

STUDENTS

Responsibilities

  1. Attend the "Welcome to Small Hill" first-semester devotional (or view the recorded meeting video if unable to attend)

  2. Meet with your PathwayConnect Mentor at least once (more if desired)

  3. Fill out and submit the two progress report surveys (Mid-Semester Survey and End of Semester Survey)

  4. Apply for a scholarship for the next semester

Report your progress by completing these surveys:

SECOND SEMESTER

STUDENTS

Responsibilities

  1. Contact and schedule a meeting with at least one industry champion

  2. Contact and schedule a meeting with at least one local expert

  3. Fill out and submit the two progress report surveys (Mid-Semester Survey and End of Semester Survey)

  4. Decide what to do after PathwayConnect

  5. Apply for a scholarship for the next semester

Report your progress by completing these surveys:

THIRD+ SEMESTER

STUDENTS

Responsibilities

  1. Contact and schedule a meeting with two or more local experts

  2. Fill out and submit the two progress report surveys (Mid-Semester Survey and End of Semester Survey)

  3. Apply for BYU-I or Ensign College if planning on attending after PathwayConnect

  4. Apply for a scholarship for the next semester
